Madison Horror Film Festival returns October 8th

Via Press Release

On Saturday October 8th, Madison Horror once again presents the Madison Horror Film Festival. The event will be at the Market Square Cinema located at 6604 Odana Rd. in Madison, WI. In addition to great independent short and feature films in the horror genre, Madison Horror is inviting in a couple of very talented young filmmakers to showcase their work.

Christopher R. Mihm is known for such past films as “The Monster of Phantom Lake” and “Cave Women from Mars”.  Christopher’s films are made in the 50’s atomic age cinema style with great monster characters and are fun for the whole family. Children are welcome to a special matinee performance of Christopher’s latest film “Attack of the Moon Zombies”.

The evening performance will be with Thomas Berdinski who’s latest film “The Giant Rubber Monster Movie”  contains cameo’s from some of today’s hottest horror hosts in the business. He is also known for the widely acclaimed “Italian Zombie Movie” which will screen at the festival and its sequel, “Italian Zombie Movie 2”.

A number of horror hosts will be on hand including Freakshow from “Bordello of Horror” and the curator of the macabre, Doctor Ivan Cryptosis. The Doctor blends the talent and charisma of the late Billy Mays with a bit of the classic schlock of Doctor Cadavarino. The mix makes for a most personable and welcoming character to any event he appears. He is known for the cutting edge humor and wit he brings to his live quiz show, "Dr C's Quagmire Quiz, Dead or Undead".

The event is scheduled from 11am to 11pm. More guest information will coming soon as well as schedule information. The deadline for submissions to this year’s festival is Friday September 9th. Submission information, scheduling, guests and past films can be found at www.madisonhorror.net. To contact Madison Horror for interviews, press information or bookings email [email protected].
