Participating businesses are asked to display the orange pumpkin sign in a visible location to let families know they’re part of the event. To help ensure everyone’s safety, businesses should also make sure walkways and entrances are well-lit and free of hazards.
The downtown area includes Dunlap Avenue, Ella Court, Hall Avenue, Ludington Street, Main Street, Maple Avenue, Marinette Avenue, Pierce Avenue, State Street, Stephenson Street, and Wells Street. Participation is optional for all downtown businesses.
Remember to turn your porch lights on if you're handing out candy & treats.
Follow these trick-or-treat safety tips for a safe and Happy Halloween!
Watch for the bright orange signs indicating participating merchants. Notice to Downtown Business: If you would like to participate in the Downtown “Trick or Treat” activities, please display the orange Halloween sign (mailed to you by October 20th) in a visible spot indicating you are a participating business. If you do not receive a sign by October 23rd, stop by the Community Development Office, Second Floor - City Hall to pick one up or call Jan at 715.732.5139.
