For Spectators:
The 2023 River Prairie Ginormous Pumpkin Festival celebrates giant pumpkins and their growers. The Festival will usher in the fall season to the Chippewa Valley with giant pumpkins lining River Prairie Park. Join us for a giant pumpkin weigh-off, great pumpkin run races, pumpkin dessert contest, human and dog costume contests, rubber ducky race, kids pumpkin decorating, apple slingshot, artist market, and a ginormous pumpkin drop at 3PM!

For Growers:
Again this year, every grower that attends will be asked to pre-register for the event through a fillable registration form, found on the website listed below. Registration is free. A registration form will be required for each and every entry, whether it be a pumpkin, squash, tomato, long gourd, etc. The registration form includes a place for providing your over-the-top (OTT) measurements for pumpkins and squash. Included in the registration form is a sign-up form for scheduling an unloading time slot if you are entering a giant pumpkin or squash (Atlantic Giant). Unloading will happen between 7 AM and 10 AM and growers will sign up for 5-minute time slots to unload their pumpkins. If there are more than 36 registrants, we will double up on time slots. We ask that growers living near the weigh-off sign up for the early slots to allow travel time for those coming from farther away. The City will provide a lunch for the growers and there will be a social time to follow the giant pumpkin drop.
