Galloway House and Village
336 Old Pioneer Road, Fond du Lac, WI 54935 (directions)
On Friday and Saturday nights, not recommended for children under 10. Sunday has no age restrictions
Phantoms of Fond du Lac will return in 2012! Just as last year, proceeds from this event will benefit both the Solutions Center of Fond du Lac and the Fond du Lac Historical Society - two very worthy causes. The Solutions Center's mission is: To restore hope to those oppressed by poverty and violence – through empowerment, confidential supportive services, and a safe haven. They continue to provide great services for people dealing with domestic violence and homelessness. To learn more about them, be sure to check out their website (http://www.solutionsfdl.com/).
Phantoms of Fond du Lac will open on Friday, October 5th, 2012. It will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after until Halloween. The haunted village is projected to be open from 6 until 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Admission is $10 per person and is not suggested for children under the age of 10.
We didn't forget the kids, though. Sundays will be more tailored towards the children, open from 1 until 5 pm. There will be no actors present, so it shouldn't be as scary. Admission is $5 for children age 3 to 17. Adult (over the age of 18) admission is free with paid child admission. Children under the age of 3 are also free.
Our haunted village will take you through 15 buildings and is projected to take 45 minutes to an hour to go through. We excel at taking the old feel of the village and making it scary. This haunted village is quite unique. You'll have to see it for yourself.
On Sundays, there are many activities scheduled for the children. Be sure to check out our website for the full schedule. There will be book readings, speakers, contests, and of course the scavenger hunt and pumpkin painting will be available every Sunday.
This year, we have two promotions running. We will be giving away a pair of tickets when we reach 200 fans on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phantoms-of-Fond-du-Lac/237564589615269). Also, we're excited to announce that we will be having an online costume contest this year! Check out our specials on our website to learn more. Entries have to be received by Friday, October 5th so get going!
