About

Do you want to do a real paranormal investigation of a well documented haunted location?

Here’s your chance, join our team as we continue the investigations of the Gainor Tavern. AS SEEN ON "MY HAUNTED HOMETOWN" Ep. 8 Airing Oct. 25th 2024 on T+E

Originally built in 1877, the building was served as a general store, black smith shop, tavern, post office, dance hall, and bar. The building was built by Michael Gainor, and was sold to Phillip Barry when Michael retired to Appleton to manager his other rental properties, however when a fire destroyed the building Michael sold 5 of his properties in Appleton to move back to Mackville and restore the building he built.

When Michael retired for good, he sold the property to his son Joe Gainor and his wife Katherine. Who in turn sold the property years later to Katherine’s nephew, Floyd Reiland and his wife Frances “Babe” Reiland.

After they both passed away, the property was set up as a trust to their children who managed it as a rental property for years until a fatal fire burned the living quarters in 1987 and that part of the building was tore down.

In 1993, the building was sold for the first time outside of the family to the current owners and has remained in their possession till this day.

Although there are many stories associated with the building, only a few are actually true and have documentation.

Some of the most notable claims that we have documented proof of:
- a male disembodied voice
- a female disembodied voice
- objects moving on their own
- doors opening and closing on their own
- lights turning on and off on their own
- knocking in response to questions
- the sound of someone sitting down next to you on furniture
- physical interactions including being touched, hair brushed, and scratched.

and other unexplained responses through our equipment (REM Pod, EMF Meter, Ovilus)

Bring your own equipment or we have some you can use while here!
Audio and Video recording is encouraged, here is your chance to investigate the paranormal.

For the very first timers, to the experienced professionals, we can walk you though, or you can take the lead! The time is yours!
